The Fireside Chat is in collaboration between the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB) and the four (4) business councils, namely the National Chamber of Commerce and Industry Brunei Darussalam, the ASEAN and APEC Business Advisory Councils of Brunei, and the BIMP-EAGA Business Council (BEBC Brunei).
As regional economic cooperation across Borneo advances, Brunei Darussalam and Sabah hold significant potential for trade and enterprise development. This Fireside Chat with Dr. Firdausi Suffian, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Sabah Berhad, provides a unique platform for Brunei’s Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to engage directly on matters of cross-border trade, market access, and strategic export opportunities into Sabah.
The session seeks to generate meaningful dialogue between Brunei’s business community and Sabah’s inward investment authority, with the aim of strengthening bilateral commercial ties, identifying priority sectors for collaboration, and supporting the broader growth of Brunei’s MSME ecosystem.
