Brunei Economy Programe
The Brunei Economy Programme (BEP) is hosted by the ASEAN and APEC Business Advisory Councils of Brunei, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Economy. Established in 2022, BEP serves as a platform to bridge the discussions held at ASEAN and APEC meetings with the Brunei business community.
This year-long initiative aligns with key regional themes such as economic growth, digital transformation, sustainable development, and Wawasan 2035. Members of the ASEAN and APEC Business Advisory Councils are appointed by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam.

The Brunei Economy Programme (BEP) 2025 delivered a strategic series of economic dialogues, roundtables, and workshops that collectively strengthened Brunei’s role in regional cooperation, business innovation, and sustainable development.Hosted by the ASEAN and APEC Business Advisory Councils of Brunei in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Economy, the programme was made possible through the strong support of leading partners.

The Brunei Economy Programme (BEP) 2024 delivered a comprehensive series of business forums, roundtables, and events throughout the year, bringing together government officials, industry leaders, and experts to discuss strategies for economic diversification, digital transformation, and energy transition, all aimed at advancing Brunei’s Vision Wawasan 2035.
