The second webinar in the EU-Brunei Higher Education Webinar Series is being organised in partnership between the Ministry of Education of Brunei Darussalam and the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Indonesia and Brunei Darussalam, to be held on 27 August 2025 via Zoom.

Building on the success of the first webinar held in September 2023—which attracted over 180 participants—this session will continue to highlight EU-funded scholarships and fellowships for students, scholars, and researchers, including the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility programme, which supports academic exchanges between Brunei and Europe.​

Attendees will learn about funding opportunities, application processes and pathways to build partnerships with European universities.​​

Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility for Brunei Darussalam

This session will explore how Bruneian higher education institutions can engage in short-term academic exchange for students and university lecturers / staff through the Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) programme. Participants will gain insights on how to establish institutional partnerships with European universities and facilitate student and lecturer/staff exchanges.
